Low Sugar Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 green apple

  • 4 stalks lacinato kale (remove the stems!)

  • juice from 1/2 lemon

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 1/4 avocado

  • 1/2 cup filtered water

  • 1 serving protein powder or 2 tablespoons hemp seeds

Optional:

  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

  • 1/2 cup ice

Directions:

  1. Roughly chop apple and cucumber. Throw in blender.

  2. Destem kale. Toss in blender.

  3. Add remainder of ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
